Full Time Diesel Mechanic

Description

Seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic - full time.

• Complete daily truck repairs
• Troubleshoot issues
• Determine necessary parts to order 
• Running diagnostic tests and interpreting the results to offer a suitable solutions
• Conducting road calls in case of emergency or sudden breakdowns
• Effectively communicate with other shop employees

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience working with Class 8 Trucks
• Experience and proficient with DPF, Emissions, and Regen Systems
• Ability to troubleshoot, read and understand diagrams, wring schematics, and electrical components
• Must have a well-rounded skill set and knowledge of maintenance of Class 8 Peterbilt equipment with Cummins and Cat motors
  • All mechanic work is performed in-house, no outside customers
• Proficient in the use of diesel engine diagnostic software: Cummins insite/Cat SIS 2.0/Joltest
• Must have valid driver's license 
• Must have a basic tool set and toolbox
  • Computers and specialty equipment supplied by the house shop
• Must be able to generate work orders and parts list for the equipment being repaired
• Must be a team player and work well with the others in the shop
